Your Only BBW Travel Resource – Online and Off I am Jo-Ellen Hodgkins and I am the founder of BBW Travel.  Quite a few years ago I learned something about myself; I really love to travel!  I love everything about traveling!  Well, almost everything; I don't love to fly, but I do it. Why? Because there's no way I'm staying home when I can be out exploring new beaches, new islands, new cruise ships and most importantly, meeting new people!  I have met people from all over the world; I have friends in Poland, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Australia, Panama, Jamaica, London, the list goes on and on.  I have met people I never would have met had I stayed home! My favorite mode of travel is cruising; what's not to love?  Where else can you be treated like a queen, have your every need met, be entertained 24/7 or do nothing at all, if that's what you want to do?  I have spent over 150 days at sea; once you start, you just can't stop!  After my 7th or 8th cruise, two things occurred to me: first, if I wanted to keep on traveling, I needed to become an informed and discriminating traveler. I learned the difference between a bargain and a value; a bargain is a waste if it has no value!  The second thing I learned was that I enjoyed planning my trips almost as much as taking them.  These two insights led me to pursue my dream and BBW Travel is the result of that dream.

What exactly does BBW mean? BBW is an acronym for a group of which I am a proud member; Big, Beautiful Women.  The term truly encompasses all big, beautiful people.  One of the niches that BBW Travel strives to fill is that of the Big, Beautiful Traveler.  Part of the dream that I mentioned above, a large part actually, is to make the world in general, and the travel world in particular, more size friendly.  I am committed to finding and providing size friendly travel to meet the needs of all travelers. If you're a bbw or a bhm (big, handsome man), you know what those needs are! If you need to know which planes have the best seats for you, which airlines are more or less accomodating, where to get a seat belt extension (or what a seat belt extension is), which hotels or ships are most comfortable, i.e., have size-friendly accomodations, atmosphere and facilities; BBW Travel is YOUR travel resource. If you need to know where to find XL beach towels, life jackets, fanny packs, etc.; BBW Travel is YOUR travel resource.  Join me, Jo-Ellen, for a Big, Beautiful Vacation Experience!
